100% Recycled Handmade Journals
Current production time is approximately 2 weeks
Handmade journals crafted from recycled cardboard (usually grocery boxes; cereal, crackers), filled with 20+ pages (40+ front and back) of blank recycled content paper in either manila, white copy, or 70lb drawing paper. Copy paper will have the most with at least 50 front and back pages. Each journal is hand bound with waxed linen or hemp cord and secured with an up-cycled button closure when available, some are lightly tied to the binding tail.
*sizes are approximate and will be within a 1/4” on minimum, depending on the material I have available.
Watercolor option is only available in large size.
When ordering your journal please leave me a note with what you would like illustrated on your cover and whether your prefer white or black ink. You can be as specific or broad as you like. Examples: 1. Flowers. 2. Flowers & butterfly. 3. Flowers & dragonfly. 4. Roses and poppies. 5. Hanging plants and window. 6. A tree of some kind. 7. Lots of leaves. 8. Feathers. 9. Mountain goats on a cliff. 10. MIx of flowers with a sunflower. 11. Essential oil bottle and flowers. 12. The sea. 13. Plants. 14. Line design. 15. Ferns & flowers. Etc etc etc
I’ve also done journals with full quotes on the cover or a single name.
Please remember these are completely hand made in every step from the illustration to the paper cutting and sewing, so please do not expect mass produced and machine quality precision. But imperfections of hand made art is what makes it lovely and makes it art.
